Photography
Please be aware that photography and the recording of digital images including mobile phones are not permitted by visitors, spectators or swimmers.
Photos of the children may be taken by an official photographer, identified by meet organisers or Maxwell.
We may wish to use these images in the promotion of the club. This may be on the website, notice boards, newsletters or other promotional items requested by the club.
From time to time the media may also visit the club, taking photos and film footage. Children may appear in these images which may subsequently appear local/national newspapers/websites or be televised.
The ASA policy on photography and photographing swimmers highlights clearly the recommendations for good practice. Maxwell is committed to observing this policy and ensuring the safety of all its members in relation to digital images. The policy can also be obtained from the Welfare Officer.
In accordance with this policy we would request that anyone belonging to Maxwell who has an objection to images being used should make it known to us as soon as possible by using the opt out form here.
