Swim 21 Accreditation
Maxwell Swim Club has successfully re-accredited within the ASA's "Swim 21" scheme; doing one better than previously, as now the club is accredited at 3 levels of the programme, instead of the 2 levels we held over the last 4 years.
Maxwell is now accredited at:
Swim 21 Teaching Level
Swim 21 Skill Development Level
Swim 21 Competitive Development Level
Along with this recognition the club also receives the latest "Sport England Club Mark" accreditation to recognise the standards that Maxwell has achieved. Swim 21 is the ASA Club Development model which is a planning tool based on the principles of Long Term Athlete Development which enables clubs, athletes, teachers, coaches and administrators to achieve their full potential.
Maxwell Head Coach Kevin Brooks adds, "Everybody has put a lot of hard work into
getting Swim 21, in particular Ian Brewer (S21 coordinator), without which this could not of been achieved..... Its fantastic to know that our hard work to develop firm pathways with local organisations and clubs is being recognised, along with the fantastic success of our Academy scheme. Ultimately everything that Maxwell does is about whats best for each individual swimmer and Maxwell is at the forefront of this locally, Regionally and Nationally!
