Hatfield Meet brings home more National Qualifying Times !
The Maxwell Senior Squad (& Leah Picillo RAG Squad) attending the prestigious Level 1 Open Meet at Hatfield (16th/17th May) and came home with some fantastic results against competitors of the highest level.
Oliver Brewer succeeded in gaining 3 additional National Times in 50 Free (24.48), 100 Free (53.01) and 100 Backstroke (1:00.41) along with Jonny Quainton adding to his 100 Free National Time with his second qualification in the form of the 50m Free (24.74).
Corinne James was the girls star of the meet smashing her previous 100 Breast PB of 1:18.5 to a fantastic 1:16.06 (only 0.20 away from her National Time! - next time Corie!) Tom Smith and Sarah Powell also showed
strong performances in their main events with Tom knocking down his PB in 200 Free to a 2:01.04 and Sarah Powell just missing her National Time for 200 Backstoke by 0.47 !
Leah Picillo performed well and did a PB in her 200 Free in a time of 2:23.85 with other strong performances from the other Maxwell 200 Free girls and Aaron Lee in 200 Free knocking 2 seconds off his 200 Free (2:04.93). Full details are now available on Hatfield’s website
