Maxwell Retain the Witney Sprint Cup
Maxwell competed in the first gala of the season on Saturday 5th September and came away with a fantastic result after retaining the Witney Sprints Cup for the 4th year running.
The competition was extremely tough with Ruislip
yet again proving to be very difficult to beat. Maxwell finally won by just 9 points, with Ruislip coming 2nd, Witney 3rd, Aylesbury 4th and Henley 5th.
The Witney Sprints a great fun event and comprises entirely of relays and is the only event where relays are raced in all the strokes. Coordinating more than two hours of relay competition is pretty demanding so a big thanks to all the Officials, Coaches and Team Managers for there efforts.
