Maxwell win Triple Trophies
Maxwell swimmers showed the form that won both the Junior and Senior Trophies at
the recent County Championships to win the final of the Home Counties Gala Trophy.
Competing against Oxford, Witney, Luton and Kettering Swimming Clubs, Maxwell swimmers produced excellent swims across all age groups and strokes. The competition was close for many of the 50 races and was reflected in the total points tally at the halfway stage where less then 10 points separated Oxford and Maxwell. However in the later stages of the Gala Maxwell swimmers
began to dominate and the final winning score of 202 points was 29 ahead of Oxford..
