Club Officials
There are currently 2 important and urgent vacancies for club officials, as follows:-

Officials Co-Ordinator.

Each time we host a gala, open meet or time trial we need qualified officials to ensure that the meet is properly run and complies with any applicable ASA licence. We are looking for a new person in this role. That person need not already be an ASA official, the main purpose being to make sure we have the correct number and type of officials at our various events.

Fund Raiser

In the past Maxwell has received additional income in various ways, most notably from grants and sponsorship. This is not currently the case. We are looking for someone who would enjoy this kind of role and could give some time to our club, in getting these initiatives going again.

If you would be able to help in such a role please would you contact Colin Eddy. Further information would be available upon request.

Interested in Teaching or Coaching?

The Maxwell Academy is growing quickly in Aylesbury & Buckingham and we now need more Teachers! If your 16+ and would like to get involved in Teaching or Coaching at Maxwell in a voluntary or paid position then please contact Head Coach Kevin Brooks on 07968 754016 or email him on head_coach@maxwellswimclub.org.

Level 1 or 2 Teachers would be preferred but if you have no qualifications this wouldn't be a problem as long as your interested in getting qualified. Through our Head Coach/Club we'll be able to provide many training/development opportunities. This might be the perfect opportunity for any up and coming teachers/coaches or parents that want to get more involved !

Sainsbury’s Bag Pack - Huge Success
The Sainsbury's Bag Pack on Saturday 23rd May was a great success. The swimmers raised over £400 for club funds. Our thanks to everyone involved in this important event and watch this space for other opportunities to add to the great start we've made! We will try hard to make sure that we give everyone a chance to shine and make a contribution. If anyone has any bright ideas to raise oodles of cash in these harsh economic times then please please see Tony Cliffe or Paul Pitts

Parents Forum
The Parents Forum was held at the AquaVale in the Dance Studio on Sunday 7th June. Kevin was there giving an update of the clubs direction and the question of volunteering came up. The date of the next forum will be available soon.
