Child Welfare

Maxwell Swim Club is dedicated to providing a friendly, caring and safe environment for all it’s members.

We are committed to everyone having the right to enjoy swimming in an environment free from the threat of discrimination, intimidation, harassment and abuse.

Advisory Note to Parents
All the centres allow access to the general public and therefore we advise that children remain within the centre until they are collected and are not left to wander and wait alone outside.
Please read the attached document re The Responsibility of Children During and After Training Sessions

Worried, concerned, upset?
If you are worried or unhappy about something please tell your coach or Angie the club’s welfare officer, or an adult you trust, we will help you.

If you don’t feel able to tell anyone close to you there are others who can help, these numbers are freephone numbers so it won’t cost you any money from payphones or your house phone

Ear Infections
Infections serious affect a swimmers ability to train. Please check out the notes about ear problems here
