Amended Training

Grammar School Closed - Updated 15th February
Commencing: MONDAY 15th FEBRUARY TILL ADVISED.
We have heard from the Grammar School again and the spare part they are waiting for needs to be ‘made to order’ and they have advised us that the pool will remain closed till the 12th March.

Maxwell appreciates the massive inconvenience that this is causing to all the swimmers and parents that this affects, and to the other squads who have to "bunch up" to allow for the rest of the club to continue to train.

Unfortunately the additional pool time that was arranged for the last 2 weeks is no longer available at the Stadium but luckily we can continue to use just 2 lanes of the Aqua Vale on Thursdays. I’d like to thank both of these facilities for their help during this time of need. Training is still going to prove problematic and very cramped at times and I’d like to ask all members to be understanding – we are doing everything that we can.

Alternative arrangements have been made where possible. These are to commence from Monday 15th February and will continue like this till a time that your advised otherwise by me. Unfortunately there is no more convenient pool time available locally. I will endeavour to try to find more space over the coming week but this will be highly unlikely. I stress that these arrangements are only temporary and that they will go back to the previous session’s times for each squad as soon as the Grammar is reopened.

The previous arrangements up till Sunday 14th February are still in place so please attend these as arranged.
