Oxon & N Bucks ASA - County Championships 10-Feb-13 to 17-Mar-13
This file contains all the Maxwell County entries received. Where times on your entry form did not match those held in HyTek database, Ray & Liz have checked with the ASA rankings. As advised previously, HyTek will automatically convert your best long course time into short course, As HyTek is being used by Counties then this system of converting will be recognised by them, therefore if you notice a change to your conversion this is the reason why. Where available we have opted for the fastest official time to be used.
Please double check your entries against this list and email with any queries. Please note: Do NOT query any times where you are expecting an improved time from the Maxwell Jan meet. It would be appreciated if all email queries could be received by Saturday afternoon so that I can then concentrate on processing the final club entry after our meet on Sunday. NT will mean No Time and the small ' after the S on your time will indicate a conversion.

Updated 6/2/13 : Accepted entries to Distance events can be found on the County Website. Linked document here provides warm time ups for each session.
Forms can be posted to Liz Drew, 18 Wellington Road, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP21 8AS OR handed to Ray & Sue Martin and Liz Drew during training. Due to the volume of expected entries (last year 542 events entered) we would like to have a deadline to receive ALL entry forms by Tuesday 15th January 2013 to allow us time to input. Please fill in your entry form correctly making sure the ASA number and Name match how they appear on the ASA database. Arrangements have now been made for the results of the Maxwell Jan Open Meet to be imported into Hytek at the end of each day of the meet, therefore when filling in your entry form please enter all the events you intend to swim even though you are awaiting times from this Meet. Any refunds will be actioned after. Please adhere to the deadline of Tuesday 15th January 2013 as due to the time restrictions involved with submitting the entire club's entry we cannot hold on for late entries. To do so will risk rejection to the County Championships. Your support and understanding is greatly appreciated.
For Counties, awards are given to the top 8 swimmers in each age group for their overall performance in addition to medals for places in individual events. This is calculated using a system called BAGCATS which is explained in this link here.
Swimmers are encouraged to seek advice from their coaches regarding which events to enter, please see downloads in above link for information. The forms should be printed and completed for return in accordance with the details given above.

Maxwell Swim Club won the ONB County Championships in 2012 to become 'TOP CLUB' - 7 YEARS IN A ROW!
"Congratulations to all the swimmers who competed this year, you have all played your part in helping the club to win for the seventh year in a row. Going into the final day it was very close between the top three clubs but a final push by all of you helped us in achieving this feat. I am extremely proud of my team of swimmers, coaches and support staff. You ve been great."
